Description
Blood Oath Pact No. 6 is the sixth annual release in the acclaimed Blood Oath series from Lux Row Distillers, created by master blender John Rempe for bourbon lovers who appreciate bold age, layered complexity, and elegant cask finishing. This limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a carefully composed blend of three ryed bourbons: a 14-year bourbon, an 8-year bourbon, and a 7-year bourbon finished in French Cognac casks.
The Cognac cask finish brings a luxurious twist to the blend, adding subtle fruit and brandy-like richness while allowing the mature bourbon character to remain at the forefront. On the nose, Blood Oath Pact No. 6 opens with inviting aromas of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, leather, and dried fruit, followed by hints of apricot, raisin, and soft spice. The palate is rich and smooth, revealing layers of caramel, honey, vanilla, oak, baking spice, and dark fruit, with the Cognac influence adding gentle sweetness and a refined, rounded texture. The finish is long, warm, and elegant, leaving lingering notes of oak, spice, caramel, and fruit-forward warmth.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 6 was released in 2020 as a one-time blend that will never be recreated. It’s an excellent choice for bourbon collectors and enthusiasts looking for a mature, limited-release whiskey with the signature Blood Oath style and an elevated Cognac-cask finish.
