Description
Blood Oath Pact No. 3 is the third annual release in the acclaimed Blood Oath bourbon series from Lux Row Distillers. Created by master blender John Rempe, this limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was designed to push the series in a new direction by introducing a wine-barrel-finished component while preserving the bold, smooth character that defines Blood Oath.
This unique blend combines a 12-year ryed bourbon, a 10-year wheated bourbon, and a 7-year ryed bourbon finished in Cabernet Franc barrels. The result is a well-balanced bourbon with layered sweetness, mature oak depth, and a subtle fruit-forward richness from the wine cask finish. On the nose, expect inviting aromas of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and dark fruit, accented by soft spice and hints of red berry sweetness.
On the palate, Blood Oath Pact No. 3 opens with notes of caramel, vanilla, and honey, followed by dark fruit, toasted oak, cocoa, and baking spice. The Cabernet Franc finish adds a gentle touch of dried fruit and wine-like richness without overwhelming the bourbon’s core profile. The finish is long, smooth, and warming, leaving behind lingering notes of oak, spice, vanilla, and subtle fruit sweetness.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 3 was released in limited quantities as a one-time blend that will never be recreated. It’s an excellent choice for collectors and bourbon enthusiasts who enjoy mature bourbon with a refined cask-finished twist and the signature luxury feel of the Blood Oath lineup.
