Blood Oath Pact No. 10 is the milestone tenth release in the acclaimed Blood Oath series from Lux Row Distillers, created by master distiller and blender John Rempe. Made as a one-time limited release for 2024, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey celebrates the series reaching double digits with a special double cask finish—a first for Blood Oath. The blend features three carefully selected bourbons, with the whiskey first finished in Cabernet Franc barrels and then refined in Merlot casks, adding a distinctive layer of red-fruit richness and elegant depth.
On the nose, Blood Oath Pact No. 10 opens with aromas of caramel, vanilla, hearty oak, and red berry fruit, layered with hints of spice and toasted sweetness. The palate is smooth and full, showing notes of caramel, raspberry, stone fruit, cocoa, vanilla, and black pepper, with the wine-cask finishing adding subtle fruit complexity without overpowering the bourbon core. The finish is long and warming, leaving lingering notes of oak, soft spice, dark fruit, and gentle sweetness.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 10 was released in limited quantities with approximately 51,000 bottles produced. As a collectible annual release that will never be recreated, it’s an excellent choice for bourbon enthusiasts who enjoy mature bourbon with a fruit-forward cask-finished twist and the signature smooth, luxurious character of the Blood Oath lineup
