Blood Oath Pact No. 7 is the seventh annual release in the acclaimed Blood Oath series from Lux Row Distillers. Created by master distiller John Rempe, this limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a carefully composed blend of three well-bred bourbons designed to balance mature oak depth with soft sweetness and fruit-forward complexity.
This expression features a 14-year extra-aged ryed bourbon, an 8-year ryed bourbon, and another 8-year ryed bourbon finished in Sauternes wine casks imported from the Bordeaux region of France. The Sauternes finish adds a distinctive layer of dessert-wine richness and subtle fruit sweetness, while the older bourbons provide the structure, spice, and oak backbone that define the Blood Oath style. According to Lux Row, the aroma opens with caramel and strong oak backed by hints of honey, while the palate leans into caramel and oak, finishing with notes of apricots, honey, and peaches.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 7 was released in 2021 as a one-time limited blend that will never be recreated. It’s an excellent choice for bourbon collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy mature, oak-forward bourbon with a refined wine-cask finish and the signature smooth character of the Blood Oath lineup.
