This release comes from a 9-year maturation in new charred American white oak barrels, allowing the rye grain to develop both bold spice and mature barrel complexity.
At 116.8 proof (58.4% ABV), this barrel sits in a slightly lower proof range compared to many Willett bourbon single barrels, but it still delivers full cask strength intensity. As a rye whiskey, it naturally leans more toward spice and herbal complexity, while long aging introduces deeper sweetness and oak structure.
