Description
Blood Oath Pact No. 1 is the first release in the acclaimed Blood Oath bourbon series, introduced in 2015 by Lux Row Distillers. Created by master blender John Rempe, this limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a hand-bottled blend of three distinct bourbons, carefully selected to create a smooth, layered, and memorable sipping experience.
The blend combines a spicy rye-based bourbon, a softer wheated bourbon, and a mature oak-forward rye bourbon, with the bourbons ranging from 6 to 12 years old. This combination gives Pact No. 1 a well-rounded and complex character, balancing sweetness, spice, and aged oak in every sip. On the nose, expect inviting aromas of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and light citrus. The palate opens with sweet honey, maple caramel, and vanilla, followed by notes of spice, chocolate, tobacco, and orange zest. The finish is smooth, warm, and slightly dry, leaving behind lingering oak and sweet spice.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 1 is both a collectible and a premium sipping bourbon.
