Blood Oath Pact No. 2 is the second annual release in the acclaimed Blood Oath bourbon series from Lux Row Distillers. Crafted by master blender John Rempe, this limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a carefully assembled blend of three distinct bourbons designed to deliver a deeper, fuller, and more luxurious profile than the inaugural pact.
This expression combines an 11-year wheated bourbon, an 11-year rye bourbon, and a 7-year rye bourbon finished in port barrels. The result is a beautifully layered bourbon with a velvety mouthfeel, balancing mature oak and spice with soft sweetness and fruit-forward depth. On the nose, expect aromas of toasted oak, caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, cocoa, tobacco leaf, and dried fruit. The palate opens with rich caramel sweetness and warm spice, followed by notes of oak, cocoa, vanilla, and a subtle port-influenced fruit character that adds smoothness and complexity. The finish is long, dry, and elegant, with lingering spice and soft fruit notes.
Bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3% ABV) in a 750ml bottle, Blood Oath Pact No. 2 was released in limited quantities as a one-time blend that will never be recreated. It’s an excellent choice for bourbon collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy oak-forward bourbons with a smooth texture and a touch of finishing-barrel sweetness.
