Joseph Magnus Triple Cask Finished Straight Bourbon Whiskey represents a magnificent pinnacle of blending and finishing artistry. The structural foundation of this whiskey begins with highly selected, fully matured straight bourbon. The true magic occurs when this robust base spirit is introduced to an elite, European triple-cask regimen. The liquid is artfully split and finished inside three distinct, premium wood varieties: Oloroso Sherry, Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry, and fine French Cognac casks.
Each wood type acts as an instrument in a sensory orchestra. The Oloroso barrels contribute deep nuttiness and dry spice; the PX casks infuse a lush, dark berry sweetness; and the Cognac barrels impart an ultra-smooth, velvety texture and elegant fruit vanillins.
