Teremana Tequila Reposado is the rested expression in the Teremana lineup, produced from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. The agave is roasted in brick ovens, fermented in open tanks, and distilled in copper pot stills, then the tequila is rested in American whiskey / bourbon barrels to add softness and barrel character while still keeping the agave at the center. The 70cl bottle is commonly sold in UK and European markets at 40% ABV.
Compared with a blanco, Teremana Reposado brings a rounder and sweeter profile thanks to its barrel rest. Retailer and official tasting notes commonly describe toasted oak, vanilla pod, roasted agave, butterscotch, gentle spice, and tropical fruit, with a smooth, rich finish.
