High West Bourye is one of the most iconic limited releases from High West Distillery, named for its unique combination of bourbon and rye (“Bour” + “Rye”). Created as a tribute to the mythical jackalope, Bourye expertly blends mature straight bourbon and straight rye whiskeys, all aged for a minimum of 10 years, to create a whiskey that showcases the best characteristics of both styles. The result is a remarkably balanced sipping whiskey that combines bourbon’s rich sweetness with rye’s vibrant spice and complexity.
Bottled non-chill filtered at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 750ml bottle, Bourye features a carefully crafted blend of sourced American whiskeys, with the exact proportions remaining a closely guarded secret. Recent releases have included mature bourbon and rye components from multiple distilleries, delivering exceptional depth and consistency while maintaining High West’s signature blending style.
