Yamazaki Limited Edition 2022 is an exclusive annual release from Suntory’s Yamazaki Distillery, Japan’s oldest and most celebrated malt whisky distillery. Continuing the acclaimed Limited Edition series, this expression is created by marrying carefully selected single malts aged 12 years or more, with a strong emphasis on whiskies matured in virgin Mizunara (Japanese oak) casks. The rare Mizunara oak imparts remarkable elegance, aromatic spice, and creamy complexity that have become hallmarks of Yamazaki’s finest expressions.
Bottled at 43% ABV (86 Proof), the whisky opens with inviting aromas of pineapple, orange, honey, coconut cream, vanilla, and nutmeg. The palate is rich and silky, revealing layers of honey, blueberries, creamy coconut, fresh ginger, ripe tropical fruit, and delicate Mizunara spice.
