Inspired by the theme of the “Land of Milk and Honey,” this remarkable release expands the original Boss Hog principles into The Ten Commandments, continuing the brand’s tradition of creating groundbreaking rye whiskeys.
Each single barrel is aged in new American oak before undergoing an innovative double finishing process. The whiskey is first finished in barrels seasoned with an experimental spirit distilled from rye and whey and infused with frankincense and myrrh, then transferred to craft mead casks that impart layers of honeyed sweetness and remarkable complexity. Bottled at barrel strength (approximately 105.3–107 Proof / 52.6–53.5% ABV), every bottle offers a unique and unforgettable tasting experience.
The nose reveals aromas of honey, roasted cashews, fresh ginger, and delicate floral notes. The palate unfolds with dried honey, raisins, citrus zest, vanilla, caramel, baking spices, and bold rye spice, balanced by subtle herbal complexity.
