Yamazaki Limited Edition 2023 is an exclusive annual release from Suntory’s Yamazaki Distillery, Japan’s oldest and most iconic malt whisky distillery. Continuing the acclaimed Limited Edition series revived in 2021, this expression showcases the artistry of Yamazaki through a marriage of carefully selected single malts aged at least 12 years, with a particular emphasis on whisky matured in virgin Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The rare Mizunara oak contributes remarkable depth, elegance, and signature sandalwood-like spice that have become hallmarks of Yamazaki’s finest releases.
Bottled at 43% ABV (86 Proof), the whisky opens with inviting aromas of pineapple, orange peel, coconut, honey, and warm nutmeg.
