To maintain a reliable baseline of luxury quality, the standard national release of Four Roses Single Barrel relies on just one of the distillery’s ten recipes: OBSV. This specific code represents a high-rye mash bill (60% corn, 35% rye, 5% malted barley) paired with their delicate, fruit-forward yeast strain. Aged between 7 and 9 years in single-story rackhouses, the heavy rye content works beautifully alongside the caramelized oak wood sugars. Bottled at a sturdy 50% ABV (100 proof), it delivers an intensely deep, full-bodied viscosity with a robust spice structure that never gets washed out.
